Prof. Krzysztof Kalwak, graduated from Wroclaw Medical Academy in 1995 and attended research scholarships at the Universities of Tuebingen and Ulm (Germany). Steps of scientific career: 2000 – doctorate, 2006 – habilitation, 2014 – full professor.
Prof. Kalwak is a board member of Pediatric Diseases Working Party of the EBMT and its Clinical Trials Subcommittee, board member of I-BFM SCT group, Prof. Kalwak introduced CAR-T cell therapy in pediatric patients with refractory ALL (March 2020).
In 2020 he was ranked 48th on the “List of top 100 most influential representatives of Polish medicine”.
